 Deceived by Flight (R) Airing Sunday, August 7, 2005 on PBS (Check local listings; dates and times may vary) Aired previously 1991/92 Morse and his alumni gather for their annual cricket match, but one of the old boys turns up dead -- murdered -- before the first ball is bowled. Lewis investigates undercover as one of the team, though Morse is bored to tears by the sport. The investigation centers on whether the victim was murdered or committed suicide and what he was trying to tell Morse during a short visit prior to his death. Before solving the case, a second man is murdered, Lewis is clobbered from behind by someone wielding a cricket bat, and Morse stumbles into a narcotics investigation and finds himself attracted to the dead man's widow (who seems to return the sentiment).
