Squeezy Bittles: scornful, unbalanced, reactive. She could have been inclined to attack either Snuffington or Spoon -- Snuffington, for rejecting her; Spoon, for his carnal confrontations. But of all our suspects, she is the only one who was never alone. Remember, she went from the dining room to the drawing room, where she found Snuffington, then returned to the dining room accompanied by Snuffington. Miss Bittles is not our murderer. Who, then, is?
