Studio A Control Room

This touch screen control panel can be used to set up effects and functions on the main control panel.

This switchable flat screen displays a wave-form monitor and vectorscope used to check the technical parameters of the broadcast signal.

The monitor wall can display any video source coming in or going out of the control room on any screen in either 16X9 (letter-box) or 4X3 (normal) aspect ratio.

During live shows the clock is synchronized with all other facilities involved in the broadcast, anywhere in the world.

The control panel of the Grass Valley Kalypso digital switcher is linked with an Abekas DVEOUS video effects generator. Here is where the director's instructions are carried out.

The technical director sits here. He sets up the monitor wall as the director desires, operates the switcher which mixes and edits all video sources, and "cuts" the show.
