Cheri Blauwet

“Disability is another way of living life that creates a unique perspective.”


Cheri is an M.D. who specializes in sports medicine. She works with other world-class athletes and with mere mortals who want to live and perform at a higher level.


Cheri participated in three Paralympics – at Sydney, Athens and Beijing. As a champion wheelchair racer, she did indeed bring home the gold in the 800 meters at the Athens games.

Cheri Blauwet is an elite athlete who has won numerous medals at the Paralympics and has won the New York, Boston and Los Angeles marathons multiple times. Cheri is also a Medical Doctor who practices sports medicine in Boston, teaches at Harvard Medical School and promotes disability rights around the world.
