Desktop Diaries: Neil deGrasse Tyson

Step into Neil deGrasse Tyson’s office in the Hayden Planetarium, and you’ll find that he surrounds himself with stars—van Gogh’s Starry Night on the wall, celestial-themed wine bottles on the bookshelf, a cluster of space ties. But the highlights of deGrasse Tyson’s desktop constellation are more personal: Keep an eye out for the Saturn lamp he lathed as a kid and an unusual action figure.
