The Tesla Roadster is a very high performance electric sports car so it's a roadster-class car; it has a removable hard top, a soft top, it seats only two people. It's a carbon fiber body, an extruded bonded aluminum chasse, very serious suspension and brakes, good sport tires and resulting in 0-60 acceleration in around four seconds. The projected driving range on the so-called EPA highway driving cycle is 250 miles. And, I mean, it's a sports car, you get into it, you drive it and it drives just like a sports car.
