These so-called "magic bullets" coming around periodically, and the danger is these "magic bullets" give people false hope—hope that this "magic bullet" would save the world eventually. But, in the meantime, it says, "We can continue living the way we're currently living."

The trouble with that kind of philosophy is we don't have time to wait anymore. We've got to get—start moving towards the transition from the oil society to energy society, another form of energy society. And so, what we're really saying here is we can begin that transition from the oil society to an electric—all-electric society based on solar and wind, and maybe waves and whatever, now. And we need to do—begin that now.
