I often ask people, "well how many cars do you think there are in the world today?" People don't know. But the answer is, it's close to 800 million. Can we imagine what 800 million is? Barely. But what is scary is that projections suggest that by 2050 there'll be 2 billion vehicles, 2 1/2 times as many as there are today.
