I think in the last couple of years, the consensus has gotten very strong, the evidence has gotten very powerful, that we're facing perhaps as much as 80 feet of sea level rise on our current path and massive extinctions. So I view this as the most serious problem facing the entire human race. I think that this will be the greatest test of the human species. Can we stop catastrophic warming? Can we avoid destroying the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets, and bringing about 80 feet of sea level rise?
