What is Open Production?

In essence, it's a way for you, our audience, to get involved and help us make a better NOVA program. Our first Open Production explores a topic relevant to anyone who drives a car or lives on the planet Earth: Can we transition to a new breed of vehicles that relies less on oil and produces fewer greenhouse gases? The documentary was shot and edited in winter 2006-2007 and will air on PBS on April 22, 2008. See final Car of the Future Web site.
