The tallest mountains on each of the world's seven continents are among the most awe-inspiring places on Earth. They are usually described using a laundry list of superlatives, including, beyond highest, most punishing, coldest, and most remote. In this slide show, take a tour of the Seven Summits, from the equatorial glaciers of Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to the Ice Age-like wilderness of Antarctica's Vinson Massif.
