Garden of Eden

Ideas from Teachers

(Gr. 6-12)
This activity could be used with NOVA's "Garden of Eden" program. Have students list organisms by name, and include who eats them, and who they eat. Data can be gathered individually, in a group, or as a teacher-led exercise by pausing the program. The class then constructs a large food web, again, in a group, or individually. Depth of detail (i.e., carnivore, insectivore, or trophic levels) depends on the ability of the group.
