Anchor rope
A massive coil of rope lay in the bow of the vessel. Known as a cable, this rope served as the vessel's anchor line. The rope was very fragile but was recovered in large pieces, which are now under conservation for display. Interestingly, the team failed to find any anchor, either on or near the vessel.
