Atop the anchor line in the bow, the team discovered a nearly complete human skeleton. A specialist at Texas A&M University is currently analyzing the remains. These studies should reveal age, sex, diseases, injuries, and possibly the cause of death. DNA samples taken from the remains may even allow researchers to locate living relatives of this unfortunate sailor.
