To cover the last six feet to the pedestal stone, the team tests another way this ancient culture might have moved moai. It's another lever method and it gives a mechanical advantage to the moai movers, essential as the pulling team has dwindled to only 20 people. Real life doesn't quite live up to the grand plans: The pole breaks.

A new pole is rigged up. It takes a full day to move the moai only six feet.
