WATCH: “Desktop Diaries” with Michio Kaku

If a messy desk is a sign of an active mind, as E.O. Wilson suggests in another Desktop Diary, then it’s probably safe to say that Michio Kaku’s brain is highly active. Former Science Friday producer Katherine Wells and I spent one afternoon with Dr. Kaku in his office, where he told us how he got interested in science (paging Flash Gordon) and some of his predictions for the future.
