This activity could be used with NOVA's "Secrets of Making Money"
program. Have students examine foreign and American currency to discover design concepts, the exchange concept, security features, the printmaking process, history, and iconography. Students can create their own "dollar bill" as if they were the ruler of their own country. This is a fabulous interdisciplinary project that is great for learning about your students. Sent in by
