Objective
To construct a flipbook showing a microorganism a student has chosen.

Materials

• NOVA's "Odyssey of Life: The Unknown World" program
• white paper
• color pencils
• scissors

Procedure

1. Find information about the microorganism's life process.

2. Watch the NOVA program, "Odyssey of Life: The Unknown World."

3. Discuss the organism's shelter, mobility, and food.

4. Discuss the benefits provided by or diseases caused by the microorganism

5. Provide students with a sheet of paper, scissors, and color pencils and have them create a flipbook of their organism.

Assessment
Students will evaluate each others' flipbooks and the best book will be posted on the bulletin board.
