I use NOVA's "Cancer Warrior" program as a starting point for a discussion of how gene expression, mitosis, chemical communication, and regulation all combine to produce cancer. I discuss with the class how cancer is related to problems in mitosis and I show how mutations in genes cause problems with the regulation of the cell cycle. Sent in by
