faces of meth

The mug shots featured here -- part of a series titled Faces of Meth™ -- are copyrighted by the Sheriff's Office of Multnomah County, Oregon and used here with permission of the Sheriff's Office.

Bret King, a deputy in the Corrections Division Classification Unit of the Sheriff's Office, created the Faces of Meth™ project to show the physical toll of methamphetamine use. King and his co-workers compiled sequential mug shots of documented meth users who had been photographed in custody more than once. King created an educational presentation using the photos that he shares at Oregon schools, and a sampling of the mug shots was published in The Oregonian as part of their in-depth series on the meth epidemic.

For more information on the Faces of Meth™ project and for downloadable versions of these and other mug shots for educational purposes, please visit: http://www.facesofmeth.us/
