STORY IDEAS / JOBS
How can I submit a story idea?
Story ideas can be sent to: Story Editor, FRONTLINE, 125 Western Ave., Boston, MA 02134. FRONTLINE welcomes suggestions from our viewers and we review all letters and ideas. We produce approximately 18 new programs each season and evaluate over 600 program suggestions and proposals.
How can I work for FRONTLINE?
Applications are welcome. However, there are very few openings each year because most of our documentaries are made by independent producer teams and journalists based elsewhere in the country and abroad. FRONTLINE has a small central staff at WGBH-TV in Boston.
Does FRONTLINE have internships?
Yes, and we are always looking for interns with a keen interest in serious journalism. FRONTLINE interns assist in research and production for programs and Web sites. Interns must receive academic credit for the internship. Internships range from three months to six months and involve a maximum of 20 hours a week of work. Visit the WGBH-TV Web site for more information on how to apply.
