[SOURCE: A CONFIDENTIAL POLICE REPORT]
On April 21, 1994, Gustav Illich, a Slovakian musician and part-time arms dealer, gets in touch with Ms. Klein for the first time. He says he has plutonium for sale. The German undercover cop, Boden, tells Klein to get a sample.
Four days later, Illich gets back in touch and mentions there are 5 kilograms of plutonium as part of a "head," possibly referring to a nuclear warhead.
A meeting is arranged for April 28 in Landshut, Germany. Boden, Klein and Illich meet there. Illich offers them plutonium, highly enriched uranium, nightscopes, MIGs and 10,000 "Scorpion" automatic pistols. Illich says he has "good contacts" with high ranking Russian military officials.
