Kathleen Bailey Kathleen Bailey owns Antique Appraisal and Estate Sale Service, which was established in 1973. She owns a retail antiques store, sells antiques at fine antique shows on the West Coast, and conducts estate sales in the Northwest.

Bailey appraises professionally for the public, executors, attorneys, estates, IRS, donations, and insurance companies. The variety of items priced and sold over a 30-plus-year career would number in the hundreds of thousands, from 18th- and 19th-century antiques to fine items of the early 20th century.

In the start-up years, Bailey served on the board of councilors and as ethics chairperson for the original International Society of Appraisers (ISA). She is currently a certified appraiser in ISA (Seattle) and in Appraisers Association of American (New York)

Bailey has been an invited appraiser on ANTIQUES ROADSHOW since 1997. Her show specialty is glass. Bailey has appeared on KOMO-TV and KIRO-TV in the Seattle area. She holds memberships in many organizations with emphasis on antiques.

Aside from her extensive background in antiques and personal property, she was an officer and co-owner of Sound Steel Service, Inc. from 1969 to 2000. Sound Steel Service, Inc. completed the suspension of aircraft in the Museum of Flight's Great Gallery at Boeing Field as well as many other Seattle landmarks.
