Peter Pap established his business dealing in antique oriental rugs in 1976 in Boston. He now has galleries in Dublin, New Hampshire, and San Francisco, California. Over the last 25 years Mr. Pap has exhibited extensively at antiques shows throughout the country. He has lectured throughout the country to rug societies, the Textile Museum, and at antiques shows, as well as regional museums. He has been featured in articles in the Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe, the San Francisco Chronicle, Elle Decor, and House Beautiful.
