Sara Wishart

Sara Wishart is an independent appraiser and consultant of antiques and personal property. She is a generalist appraiser, with extensive knowledge of furniture and decorative arts, and a specialty in silver. Sara is a veteran of the auction world, having spent nearly 14 years with the New England auction house, Skinner Inc., where she was Director of the Fine Silver Department, Deputy Director of the Fine Books & Manuscripts Department, and a specialist in European furniture and decorations. With a master's degree (M.Phil.) in furniture and decorative arts from the University of Glasgow, Sara brings enthusiasm for antiques of all kinds to her appraisal and consulting practice.

While based in Florida, Sara enjoys travel, and is available for appraisal and consulting work throughout the country, and she participates in numerous not-for-profit appraisal events throughout the year. Sara works in association with Diane Marvin Appraisal Services, Inc., and with fellow appraiser Stuart Whitehurst.
