GUEST: Well, I got on the plane in Pittsburgh, flying to L.A., in August of 1967. We stopped in Detroit, and these three guys came aboard, and they all had Afros and... really cool guys. And after a little while, I walked back and said, "Hi, who are you?" Well, the one guy said, "Oh, you've probably never heard of me. My name's Jimi Hendrix." I said, "Hey, how about giving me your autograph? Someday I might remember your name." And I couldn't find a piece of paper, so I looked in my jacket pocket and I found my ticket envelope. And I said, "Here," so he wrote on there, "Best of luck from Jimi Hendrix Experience." And I got Noel Redding, and I got Mitch, too.
APPRAISER: In today's marketplace, this autograph set is probably worth, retail priced, $2,500 to $3,000.
GUEST: Wow. Good.
