Appraisal Transcript:
GUEST: I know that it was my grandmother's and probably at my great- grandmother's house as well.
APPRAISER: The piece is stamped on the base, Louis C. Tiffany Furnaces, Inc. Starting in the teens and the '20s, they made these kinds of shades. It's a wire mesh and it's enameled, and then the whole thing is fired to melt, and that's how you get this wonderful jewel-like effect in the lamp. In a gallery or shop setting, this would be priced at between $5,000 and $7,000.
GUEST: Okay, great.
