GUEST: My wife's grandmother married a man from Mexico City. He was an antique collector, and his inventory indicated Guatemala. So we assumed that it came from Guatemala, or that's where he purchased it.
APPRAISER: I think we tend to think that only samplers that are made in the United States or England are valuable, but there are many wonderful samplers from Mexico and South America. I think this is a great example of that. I would probably insure this for somewhere around $2,000.
