    Appraisal Transcript:

GUEST: Well, it was my grandma's, and when she passed away, this was the piece to come to me.

APPRAISER: It's from about 1880. Basically, what we're looking at here is the beadwork and the wire twist goes all around the necklace and into the back. And those are split pearls, so they're most likely natural pearls.

    GUEST: Okay.

APPRAISER: 14-karat gold. Most likely Italian, in Etruscan revival style. For auction purposes, I would say anywhere between $4,000 and $6,000.

    GUEST: Okay, great!
