GUEST: It's been in the family five or six generations. My great-great-great-grandmother had it, and she was from France.
APPRAISER: It's what they call a book form watch, and this would date from about 1860 or so. You have not only a place for one photograph, but you have a little family portrait set up there for three. I would say in the condition that it's in now, it's probably worth about $4,000 to $6,000 at a show, and if you had the watch restored, $6,000 to $8,000.
