Appraisal Transcript:
GUEST: My dad got this at a Masai trading camp in Kenya. And he was told that it was authentic and that it was from East Africa.
APPRAISER: This is from Nigeria. And this is Benin style, and Benin is a city in Nigeria.
GUEST: Okay.
APPRAISER: And this is in the style of an 18th-century pendant.
GUEST: Uh-huh.
APPRAISER: But the problem is it's much too big. It's supposed to be heart-shaped. The whole thing is an exaggeration. So we have a decorative object. A piece like this is going to be $200 to $300.
GUEST: Okay.
