    Appraisal Transcript:
GUEST: It was given to me in the mid-'60s by a very favorite aunt, and it had been given to her probably 20 years prior to that from my father's mother and I did not play with it; it's been in a box.

APPRAISER: Lucky for you, it's been in a box.

    GUEST: (laughs) Yes.

APPRAISER: Obviously, it's a Steiff piece, which it shows on the button and on the tag. Your piece dates to probably about 1936. Steiff early pieces are very rare. To find a early piece in fine condition is very, very rare, and to find early Mickey Mouse is triply rare.

    GUEST: That's a good thing.

APPRAISER: It's a good thing. On the retail market today, it's worth between $3,500 and $4,500.

GUEST: Oh, my! Mickey, I love you!

    APPRAISER: (laughs)
