    Appraisal Transcript:
GUEST: It's Tiffany Studio, I know that much.

APPRAISER: And how do you know that?

    GUEST: It's on the bottom.

    APPRAISER: On the bottom, right.

GUEST: It's not like most Tiffany lamps where there's a lot of stained glass work. I don't know quite why it's so different.

APPRAISER: And where did you get it?

GUEST: I got it from my dad, who got it from his dad.

APPRAISER: It does have a Tiffany Studios mark on the bottom, a brown to green finish on the metal. This is a Favrile Fabrique shade.

    GUEST: Okay.

APPRAISER: It's also referred to as a linen fold shade. And it was made about 1910 to 1915.

    GUEST: Mm-hmm.

APPRAISER: We can tell that by the switch on the back. This was a switch that was used a little later than when they were originally made. And I would place a value on this for insurance from $4,000 to $6,000.

    GUEST: Really?

APPRAISER: It's a lovely lamp, and I'm so happy that you brought it to the Roadshow.
