    GUEST: It belonged to my mother's youngest sister.

    APPRAISER: Your doll is a German doll made by Simon and Halbig. I've never seen this doll before. Your doll has these rare features of having the head turned to the side, and it's looking down. It has a hairline fracture that goes through the eye and over to the other side and down. Even with that damage, the doll would sell retail for about $2,000.
