    Appraisal Transcript:
GUEST: It's a book of poems and seven drawings by Maynard Dixon, and Maynard Dixon was a very dear friend of my grandmother's. I knew that he only printed about 250 copies of it, so I figured it was worth something to bring to the Roadshow.

APPRAISER: It's one of Maynard Dixon's scarcest works. He's a very sought after Western painter, as we know. It's a beautifully printed limited edition of the book. We have it open to the title page showing one of the beautiful illustrations from the book. And if we turn it here to one of the frontispiece pages, we have a wonderful photograph of the artist himself, Maynard Dixon, and an inscription from the artist, and the inscription is to whom?

GUEST: It is to Mary Ann, which was my grandmother.

APPRAISER: Beautiful book. This is one of 250 issued. Signed with a real photograph of Dixon in it, the book is going to be worth, with the photograph and autograph at retail, in the $2,500 to $3,000 range.

GUEST: Oh, you're kidding! That's exciting!
