    Appraisal Transcript:

GUEST: It was my grandmother's doll as a child, so I'm guessing the doll is probably about 120 years old.

APPRAISER: That puts it about the time that I was thinking about: 1880, 1885. I seldom see a primitive folk art doll. It has everything that it should have. It has all of its original clothes, its original body. It's really a very charming-looking doll. On the retail market, this doll would bring between $1,200 and $1,500.

    GUEST: Wow, really?

    APPRAISER: Yes.

    GUEST: Really? That's fabulous.
