    GUEST: It was possibly given to my grandparents as a wedding gift. That would have been 1920-ish.

    APPRAISER: It is a fine example of Rozenburg pottery. Now, Rozenburg made eggshell porcelain, which is world-renowned. The colors are phenomenal, and it probably dates from about 1900. At auction, it would probably sell for between $750 and $1,000.

    GUEST: Wow, okay.

    APPRAISER: And it is really, really pretty.

    GUEST: Thank you, I think it is too; I love it.
