    GUEST: I bought it at a yard sale for 25 cents.

    APPRAISER: You know it's Moorcroft.

    GUEST: Oh, yes, made in England.

    APPRAISER: This is a line called Eventide, and it's one of the more popular lines that Moorcroft's produced. It probably dates from the 1930s or '40s, even. In an auction setting, you're probably looking at about a $1,000 piece.

    GUEST: Wow! That's more than I expected.
