    Appraisal Transcript:
GUEST: This is my husband's great-uncle's guitar.

APPRAISER: Your husband acquired it when his great-uncle passed away?

    GUEST: Yes.

APPRAISER: It's an ES 330 made by Gibson between 1959 and 1972. The great thing about this guitar is, it's first year of production. It's a 1959, and that's pretty coveted. The fingerboard is Brazilian rosewood, which is now a CITES material, which means you can't get on a plane and take it outside of the U.S. without a CITES license, or it will be impounded. Tell me, have you ever had it appraised or valued?

GUEST: We had contacted someone in Nashville and he had said it was worth $6,000, but I really think he was trying to buy it from us more than anything.

APPRAISER: Okay, all right. Well, I think for an insurance value on this, I would insure it between $12,000 and $14,000.

GUEST: Goodness! Well, that will definitely have to go on homeowner's.

    APPRAISER: Most certainly.
