Reglas en espanol

1. General Rules

Each year, WGBH hosts a number of appraisal events at different locations in the United States at which it records its television series Antiques Roadshow (the “Event(s)”). Limit one (1) online application, per household. Each person applying for tickets (the “Applicant”) may only apply for two (2) tickets to one (1) Event. At the Event, each person may only use one (1) ticket.

Each Applicant may only apply to one (1) of the five (5) Events on the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW production tour. WGBH reserves the right to add additional Event location(s) during the Entry Period. If additional Event location(s) are added, WGBH will post the information on the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Website and will also notify Applicants via email. Applicants may apply to the additional Event location(s). However, their newly submitted application shall render the previously submitted application null and void.

By applying for tickets, Applicant acknowledges compliance with these rules and regulations (the “Official Rules”) including all eligibility requirements included herein.

2. How to Apply for Tickets

No purchase is necessary to apply for tickets.

All applications become the property of the producer of ANTIQUES ROADSHOW, WGBH Educational Foundation ("WGBH") and will neither be acknowledged nor returned.

Individuals may apply for tickets online with a valid email address by completing the electronic ticket application form available on the Internet via http://pbs.org/antiques (the "ANTIQUES ROADSHOW") commencing on December 4, 2017, at 12:01AM (ET) and ending on February 27, 2018 at 11:59PM (PT) (the “Entry Period”).

As part of the online application process, each Applicant will be required to submit an electronic form confirming his or her eligibility.

Each Applicant must input all required data on the ticket application form. Incomplete or inaccurate entries may be deemed void.

In addition to the requirements above, Canadian residents must correctly answer the question about ANTIQUES ROADSHOW that appears on the application page.

Applicants may indicate their preferred entrance time (either morning, midday, or afternoon), and, although WGBH will not guarantee the entrance time requested by Applicant, WGBH will attempt to grant Applicant his or her preferred entry time.

WGBH will determine at its sole discretion which applications may be accepted, discarded, and/or randomly selected. WGBH's decision is final.

Any applications received before or after the above application period will be void.

3. Applicant's Contact Information

(a) Opt-In Box (checked): By leaving the Opt-in box on the ticket application checked, Applicant agrees that Applicant's contact information, including name, address, and email address provided by Applicant in the application may be collected and stored by WGBH or its agent and may be used by WGBH to contact Applicant; and that such information may also be given to PBS and its member public television stations, including WGBH, and/or the sponsors and licensees of ANTIQUES ROADSHOW so that they may contact the Applicant regarding their products or services.

If an Applicant decides at a later date that he or she wishes to have WGBH remove his or her contact information from this list, the Applicant may email WGBH at antiques_roadshow@wgbh.org with the word "REMOVE" in the subject line and indicating his or her name and address in the body of the email. Removal of Applicant's name will be accomplished as is reasonably practicable.

(b) Opt-In Box (un-checked): An Applicant who "un-checks" the Opt-In box on the ticket application agrees that Applicant's contact information, including name, address and e-mail address may be collected, stored, by WGBH or its agent and used by WGBH to contact Applicant regarding the Event, but in this case, Applicant's contact information will not be given to any third parties.

Leaving the Opt-in boxes checked or unchecked will have no effect on the probability of Applicant’s application being selected.

4. Applicant Eligibility

Ticket application is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States of America, its territories and possessions, the District of Columbia, and Canada, who, at the time of applying for tickets, are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in the jurisdiction of their residence. Applicants who are residents of Alabama and Nebraska must be at least 19 years of age to apply and residents of Mississippi must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to apply. Ticket application is void where prohibited by law.

The following individuals are not eligible to apply for tickets, and applications will not be accepted from: officers, directors, employees, or agents of the Public Broadcasting Service, its local and/or member public television stations, WGBH, ANTIQUES ROADSHOW's national sponsors, or their respective parents, divisions, subsidiaries, and/or affiliated companies, licensees, advertising, and promotional agencies, or their immediate family members (including, without limitation, spouse, parent, child, and sibling), or those living in the same households, whether or not related, of such individuals.

Applicants selected to receive tickets must be able to prove eligibility to the satisfaction of WGBH including verification of age and residence and/or parental/legal guardian consent (where required) upon request.

5. Ticket Selection, Notification, and Distribution

Successful applicants (“Winners”) will receive two (2) tickets to the Event applied for. Out of the total number of applications received, one thousand seven hundred and fifty (1,750) Winners will be selected for each Event location. (A total of three thousand five hundred (3,500) tickets from this application process will be distributed per Event.)

Winners are selected at random from all eligible, non-duplicate applications with valid email addresses, received during the Entry Period. Chances of winning will depend on the total number of eligible applications received.

The drawing will be conducted on or about March 8, 2018. After the selection process, Applicants will receive a Ticket Checker notification email containing a unique link to find out if they won a pair of free tickets to the Event.

Tickets will be made available electronically to Winners approximately two (2) weeks prior to the Event date. WGBH is not responsible for any problems or failures encountered with the third-party ticket distribution system.

Tickets are for personal use only, have no commercial or retail value, and resale is strictly prohibited and by applying for tickets, Applicants agree not to sell them or exchange them for any gain. Applicants acknowledge that the unlawful or unapproved resale of tickets is grounds for cancellation of that ticket, and WGBH reserves the right to refuse admission to any person found to have bought or otherwise acquired a ticket through any means which does not conform with these Official Rules, to be determined at WGBH’s sole discretion. Ticket holders are responsible for their own transportation to the Event and any and all other related expenses. WGBH, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to deny entry or remove persons from the Event for any reason.

Ticket holders must bring at least one (1) and no more than two (2) items for appraisal in order to be admitted to the Event. WGBH is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen articles.

The following items will not be appraised and do not count towards the minimum number of items required to receive an appraisal or be admitted to the Event: vehicles, stamps, paper currency, coins, bicycles, fossils, tools, glass fire extinguishers and explosives or hazardous materials. WGBH reserves the right to refuse any item for appraisal at its sole discretion.

By using tickets, Winners agree to adhere to the rules of the Event and to the terms included with the ticket, including the Appearance Release.

Tickets permit admission to the Event on the date and time and at the location specified on the ticket only, no substitutions will be allowed.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties/Release Limitation on Liability:

WGBH makes no, and disclaims all, warranties, guarantees, and/or representations, express or implied, concerning the condition or quality of the tickets.

WGBH is not responsible for any bodily or personal injury, property damage, or any other loss resulting from use or attempted use of the tickets.

WGBH is not responsible for applications that are incomplete, illegible, lost, delayed, or misdirected. Although WGBH attempts to ensure the integrity of the application process, WGBH is not responsible for the actions of Applicants in connection with the application process, including Applicant's attempts to circumvent these rules.

By entering the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW ticket application, each Applicant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the ticket drawing, or any ticket awarded, will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (2) under no circumstances will any Applicant be permitted to obtain any award for, and each Applicant hereby and expressly waives all rights to seek punitive, incidental, consequential or special damages, lost profits and/or any other damages, and/or any rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased; and (3) each Applicant's remedies are limited to a claim for money damages (if any) and each Applicant irrevocably waives any right to seek injunctive or equitable relief.

In the event WGBH is prevented from: (i) conducting any part of the application process and/or (ii) conducting and holding any part of the Event for which Applicant has secured tickets; in both cases by any event beyond its control, including but not limited to fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, communications or equipment failure, utility or service interruptions, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any federal state or local government law, order, or regulation, any partial or complete government shutdown or bankruptcy, or order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within WGBH's control (each a "Force Majeure" event or occurrence), WGBH shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the application process and/or the Event for which Winner has secured tickets.

In the event of a dispute, all decisions made by WGBH, One Guest Street, Boston, MA 02135, are final and binding.
