Complete Rules and Regulations
1. General Rules
Limit one (1) application per household.
Limit two (2) tickets per household.
Each applicant may only apply for tickets to one (1) event.
By applying for tickets, applicants acknowledge compliance with these rules and regulations including all eligibility requirements included herein.
2. How to Apply for Tickets
No purchase necessary to apply for tickets.
All applications become the property of ANTIQUES ROADSHOW and will neither be acknowledged nor returned. By applying for tickets, each applicant acknowledges compliance with these rules and regulations.
Apply Online: Individuals may apply for tickets online commencing on January 5, 2009 by completing the ticket application form available on the Internet via http://pbs.org/antiques (the "ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Web site").
Each applicant must input all required data on the ticket application form. Incomplete or inaccurate entries shall be deemed void.
To comply with Canadian regulations, Canadian residents applying via the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Web site must correctly answer the question about ANTIQUES ROADSHOW that appears on the application page.
All applications via the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Web site must be received by no later than 11:59pm ET, April 20, 2009.
Apply Via Postcard: Alternatively, individuals may apply for tickets by sending a postcard only (e.g. no envelopes, letters, overnight, or other packages), which shall be no smaller than 3.5 x 5 inches and no larger than 4.25 x 6 inches to:

Canadian residents applying by postcard must include the answer to the following question on the postcard: Name two (2) appraisers who have appeared on ANTIQUES ROADSHOW.
Each postcard application must include the applicant's name, street address, city, state, and postal code. (NOTE: A street address must be included even if your mail is delivered to a P.O. Box.) Any postcards that are illegible or incomplete will not be accepted.
Postcards, letters, or other cards sent inside envelopes or packaging will not be accepted.
Applicants may include a preferred entrance time (either morning, midday, or afternoon), although ANTIQUES ROADSHOW cannot guarantee the entrance time requested by the applicant.
Postcard applications must be received no later than April 20, 2009.
Any postcards that are illegible or incomplete may be disqualified.
All applications:
With respect to any and all applications made via the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW Web site and/or via postcard, any duplicate applications or applications from the same e-mail address or street address or P.O. Box (same household) may be discarded. WGBH will determine at its sole discretion which applications will be discarded.
3. Applicant's Personally Identifiable Information
If you submit a request for tickets via the application form on the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW web site and you leave the Opt-In box checked on your application, you are agreeing that your personally identifiable information (e.g. name, address, e-mail address) may be collected for use by the WGBH Educational Foundation and may be given to the public television station in the applicable event city, and/or the sponsors and licensees of ANTIQUES ROADSHOW so that they may contact you regarding their products or services.
If you do not agree that your personally identifiable information may be given to the public television station in the applicable event city and/or the sponsors and licensees of ANTIQUES ROADSHOW, then you must un-check the Opt-In box when submitting your application form.
If you decide at a later date that you wish to have WGBH remove your personally identifiable information from this list, you may email WGBH at antiques_roadshow@wgbh.org with the word "REMOVE" in the subject line and indicating your name and address in the body of the email.
4. Applicant Eligibility
Ticket application is open only to legal residents of the United States or Canada who, at the time of applying for tickets, are at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Applications will not be accepted from officers, directors, employees, or agents of the Public Broadcasting Service, its local public television stations, the WGBH Educational Foundation, ANTIQUES ROADSHOW's national sponsors, or their respective parents, divisions, subsidiaries, and/or affiliated companies, licensees, advertising, and promotional agencies, or immediate family members (including, without limitation, spouse, parent, child, and sibling), or those living in the same households, whether or not related, of such individuals.
Applicants selected to receive tickets must prove eligibility to the satisfaction of ANTIQUES ROADSHOW including verification of age and residence.
5. Ticket Selection, Notification, and Distribution
Successful applicants will receive two (2) tickets. Three thousand, two hundred (3,200) applications will be selected to receive one pair of tickets. (A total of six thousand, four hundred (6,400) tickets will be distributed).
Applicants selected to receive tickets are selected in a random drawing. Chances of being selected to receive tickets will depend on the overall number of eligible applications received. Applications by postcard have the same chance of selection as online applications.
Applicants who submitted an application online will receive notification by email only if they have been selected to receive tickets. We cannot guarantee delivery of email notification.
Postcard applicants will not receive any notification from ANTIQUES ROADSHOW regarding the status of their application.
Tickets will be mailed to those selected to receive tickets approximately three (3) weeks prior to the applicable event date.
Tickets are for personal use only, have no commercial value, and resale is strictly prohibited. Ticket holders are responsible for their own transportation to the event and any and all other related expenses. Neither ANTIQUES ROADSHOW nor its producer, WGBH Educational Foundation, is responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen articles. This offer is void where prohibited by law.
