I have a back lab cross grey hound. When he was a puppy we found out that he had distemper. At first just his tonge twitched. Then he started to shake all over. We took him to a vet but they only said that there was no hope for him and that we should put him down immediately. We didn't want to see him be put down so we just didn't go back to the vet. Soon his legs stopped twitching and he got rid of the disease!! The only thing that reminds us of his sickness is his tonge that still sticks out and twitches. He is now almost 5 years old and in a healthy condition!! The vet said that most dogs die from that disease. He's our miracle puppy. His name is LOCO.
