Bulletproof a Police Dog Two years ago I began fundraising to buy bulletproof vests for my town's police dogs. It was a success and the leftover funds went to buy them another dog. Then I soon realized that all the law enforcement dogs in my county needed this protection. This also has been a success. Now 13 agencies in 3 states are provided with this much needed protection. I do not believe that a police dog should be called to give his all. These keval vests will hopefully bring them home at the end of their shift to play ball and curl up on the couch to sleep.
