Ways to support WLAEThere are so many ways you can help fulfill the mission of WLAE Public Broadcasting. Please consider a gift of time or money as you enjoy the finest quality television in the New Orleans Area.When you join WLAE you are joining more than five million families nationwide in saying public television makes a difference in your life. A major portion of WLAE-TV's annual income is generated by its members. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality educational, inspirational and informational programs. Your support furthers WLAE's mission providing high-quality programming to all households in the Greater New Orleans area - not just homes served by cable. If WLAE doesn't do it, who will? And we can't do it without your support. Here's how to join. Become part of the team that provides programs that educate, inspire, and inform. Support WLAE-TV by sending in your contribution of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 or $1,000. Any donation over $50 will receive a copy of VIEW, WLAE's Monthly Program Guide. If your company participates in a matching gift program, your donation to WLAE-TV can be doubled. Please check with your personnel/human resources office for the necessary forms and information. Or by email Bonnie Dwyer. * Quality Television Programming * The generosity of WLAE-TV's supporters permits us to provide programming like The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, Charlie Rose, Sesame Street, and 38 hours of weekly Instructional Television to more than 320,000 students in the metropolitan area. * Program Guide * Our monthly program guide, published in City Life Magazine, provides a listing for our schedule, and is available to members of WLAE-TV. * Tax Deduction * WLAE-TV is a non-profit organization and is recognized under IRS status 501 (c)3. Gifts to WLAE are tax deductible. Other Opportunities to Support WLAE * WLAE Tuition Auction - TBD This is your opportunity to save money on tuition costs and still ensure a quality education. College, High School and Elementary School tuitions are auctioned in this one night televised event.
