I am searching for the slaves of Joseph White of Bedford Co VA. They were willed to his children after he died in 1844. They were Lavinia and her two children, Mary and Margaret, Daniel, Booker, Bill, Eliza and Jordan. Daniel was hired out to work for money to support Joseph's widow. I believe they probably went by the last name of White, but I am not possitive of this.
