I have documented proof of my ancestors retaining and owning a tract of land in Texas out of the C. C. Tyler survey, A809, Navarro County of land dating back to 1881. "In a warranty deed dated April 29, 1881, from Robert Colbert to Augustus Colbert recorded in Volume 37, Page 241 of the Deed of records of Navarro County, Texas, containing 30 acres of land, more or less".
