I found my birth mother who introduced me to her colorful family. Her mother Naomi's father came to the US (perhaps Ellis Island) around 1912. His name was Charles Zuckerman and he sold fruit on a cart in Virginia and Pennsylvania. My birth father was an African-American man, Chester West, who recently died without my knowing him. His mother's name was Rose West. They were from York Pa. |
