"Benjamin Spaulding Ancestors" book by Bowen nc 1770s eastern NC oral, written

Hey. Both sides of my family are from the eastern part of nc. My mother is a Bowen and her people are from Bladen County and are black Waccama in the East Arcadia area (45minutes from Wilmington) and there is a book about the Spaulding Bowen Ancestors. My mother's maternal side is hard to investigate but they are Wilsons and Swains. My father is a Taylor from Elizabeth City area (that's been more of a challenge)--- when I was young I heard that there were 2 sets of Taylors (the lighter skinned and the darker)---- allegedly we are a part of the lighter group. Anyone know about any of these names, please try contacting me. I'd love to put more this together before my parents generation leaves.....
