Grand mothers, aunts, uncles In South Carolina/ Chacago Due West, South Carolina From Grand mother, aunts, uncles and thier cousins

My Grandfather, Mr Ollie Daniel McAdams was a land owner and farmer in Due West, South Carolina. He had chickens, hogs, cows grew all types of fruits and vegetables, made flour, butter and sugar. His land is still in Due West, where not only did some of his children placed homes, but grandchildren did too. It appears that the Harthones a white family lived across from my grandfather's land. My grand dad own the land directly in front of his homes on the other side of the street. The Harthrones wanted the land as not to break up their land-line. My granfather sold it to them. I don't know how much it was sold for. But I grew up hearing the McAdams men were well respected. He died at the age age of 90?? in 1966. We don't know if that was really his age.
