Through research I discovered there is a connection between my African American family, Barren County, KY and that of ALEXANDER DAVIDSON Sr (Alex II), 1744?-1817, b. VA, d. Barren County, Kentucky, Warren County, Kentucky, delegate to the Second Constitutional Convention of KY, 1799. His signature is on the Constitution.) Research shows that the Virginia and Kentucky conventions held during this period were heavliy influenced by the writings of Thomas Jefferson and James Madison.
